Gretchen is a 25+ year tech industry veteran with vast experience in commercial, public sector, industry, and partner sales and marketing across small, medium and large businesses—including leadership of both traditional channel ecosystems and technical evangelism across student, start-up and developer audiences. Recognized as CRN Channel Chief and CRN Women of Channel Power 100 in 2018, Gretchen serves as Vice President of Go-To-Market for the One Commercial Partner Organization at Microsoft, where she leads Partner Go-To-Market strategy and execution with 100K partners responsible for over $20 Billion in US revenue. Prior to this role, Gretchen led business and market strategy for the US Developer Experience & Evangelism organization, where she oversaw efforts to build partner ecosystems with ISVs, startups, developers, students, and IT pros to accelerate third-party application development on Microsoft devices and cloud platforms. Gretchen has also led commercial, industry, partner and public sector marketing for Microsoft’s US Subsidiary. Gretchen built the Worldwide Partner Cloud Strategy for Microsoft’s partner ecosystem, driving new channel transformation, profitability and cloud economics, enabling cloud & digital transformation for customers across industries and segments. Her work with CIOs & CMOs across corporate America combined with her deep passion for students, start-ups and STEM based programs, led to her to co-found Women-in-Cloud, an initiative she leads to drive awareness and programs to close the gender gap for women in technology. Before joining Microsoft, Gretchen was a founder of an open source start-up SaaS company and Vice President of Sales & Marketing for a global ISV, delivering web services to Fortune 500 customers. Her depth of experience across all channel ecosystems, including startups, ISV’s and large global service providers gives Gretchen a unique perspective to help companies connect to commercial partners and engage more deeply with Microsoft.
